Chuck beats Heroes in viewers, as Heroes drops to 3.93 Million

Hiro won't be able to say this much longer...

Have you disliked the direction Heroes has went recently? Well, apparently it's not just you: it's also 2 million other TV watchers.

Yes, Heroes has gotten so bad 2 MILLION people stopped watching!

At the beginning of this season, Heroes was receiving  6 million viewers, and when the new episodes began airing this year: under 5 million.
Monday's episode sucked (if you've seen it, you probably agree) and drew under 4 million viewers.
The drop is viewership is clearly fans negatively responding to the horrible writing the show lost since the first season. I'm still a fan, but I'm not sure for how much longer.

Meanwhile, Chuck is averaging 7 Million viewers so far this season. Not even Subway can save Heroes now!

  1. First of all, I totally LOVE Chuck. But I didn't think Monday's Heroes episode sucked. Admittedly I have always had rather low expectations for Heroes, but I still think it's okay.

  2. Though it may not be as great as it once was, Heroes doesn't suck. It ebbs and flows, but is still more enjoyable than so much else on tv.

Since when do we judge the quality of a show by its viewership numbers. Firefly and Dollhouse were both cancelled because of poor ratings, yet are among the best quality shows ever aired.

  3. ...and let's not forget "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles". Even "Better Off Ted" appears to be in trouble.
I personally think many of these reality shows 'suck', but they get the numbers. Is that a reflection of their quality or of their viewership?
