Joss Whedon looking for SUPERFANS (you?) for Comic-Con Documentary

Share
Marc Malkin at Eonline reports that Joss Whedon's next work might not be a TV show, but instead, a documentary.

From the article: "I just got word that the Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator is developing a documentary feature about Comic-Con that will be centered on a still-to-be-cast group of convention-going superfans.

Whedon is teaming up with award-winning Super Size Me director Morgan Spurlock, according to a source.

'They want to follow people for about three months leading up to this year's Comic-Con,' the source said. 'And then they want to film them there. They're looking at all types of people.' "

Now I don't know of any good methods of getting in touch with Joss, but I'm guessing if you're a super-fan, you either already know or it won't stop you anyway. This is an interesting side project for Joss, but I still want Dr. Horrible 2 instead!

  1. Not to say been there done that but, been there done that. You need to check out a movie called Hobocon. Screenhead did a great review of it and they are just now making some noise with it. Their version may not be the same premise and definitely not the same budget, but I bet the same story comes out of it.
