10 Awesome Futuristic/Scifi Weapons that Could Be Coming Soon

Today is Memorial Day in the U.S. and many science fiction shows have been known for including the military as a main fixture in the storyline. The Stargate series come to mind first when I think of science fiction and military: (Thanks for the video link @TheRealMirCat)

LOST - the end is near! Collection of LOST movies/graphics

Tonight is the culmination of 6 years of television in which a show entertained, amused, humored, and freaking drove us crazy the whole time.

It's crazy how a show can be so entertaining, yet not tell you exactly what's going on. The show is titled "LOST" after all. If the viewers weren't LOST, I'd almost feel let down, because the show didn't live up to the title.

I've included in this post a bunch of my favorite LOST graphics and movies.  It's a nice trip through memory lane.

Wash from Firefly (Alan Tudyk) gets a role in Transformers 3!

Wait, WHAT?! I don't know how I feel about this. On one hand I really want to see Wash in Transformers, but I also dread seeing him in a horrible role at the expense of Michael Bay. We saw Transformers 2, and we know it sucked, and I'd hate to have Alan reach an increase in popularity through a horrible role in the movie. Alan could pull off whatever role he gets, I just hope it's a good one!

From TheWrap:
"Firefly" star Alan Tudyk has been cast in "Transformers 3," Paramount Pictures confirmed to TheWrap.
The studio is currently keeping Tudyk's role in the sequel under wraps, as well as the film's general plot.

[Click the image to the left to view the infographic]

This text is accompanying the beautifully made infographic on the left. It's a great visual about Star Trek (on a series level), and may have a few facts you don't know about the great TV and Movie series.

A larger version can be seen at as the image seems to want to stay smaller than the original. :\
